Extrusion Operator - Setup Operations (2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm) Lenni, PA

Extrusion machine operator - Setup operator duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Clean and setup single screw extruders

Maintain setup and accurate in-process records

Record running conditions and process change

Assure material is being manufactured to the required specification

Take care of tooling and equipment during the setup of an extruder

Monitor cut off sheets and shop orders that are running and being setup

Confirm correct type and amount of resin is entered into each job

Maintain housekeeping in extrusion area

Maintain all safety requirements

Requirements

Demonstrated mechanical ability

Proper use of hand and power tools

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License

Job experience (>2 years) in a manufacturing setting or graduation from a technical training school in a mechanical application

Knowledge in the safe operation of the following equipment: horizontal lathes of all sizes, portable resurfacing machines and drill presses

Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
