Job description

As a Plant Supervisor at Daniels Health, you'll play a key role in overseeing sterilization operations that protect healthcare workers and the environment. This is a hands-on leadership role within a company that's redefining safety and infection control in medical waste management through innovation and technology.

This is a 1st shifton-site role based in Sturtevant, WI, working with a motivated and collaborative team
What you will do
  • Lead hiring, training, and development of shift staff, with a strong presence on the floor to provide hands-on support and direction.
  • Conduct quality checks on smart containers and deliver regular quality assurance training aligned with performance metrics.
  • Monitor plant equipment, perform minor repairs, and ensure preventive maintenance is completed each shift.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering processes, providing analysis and feedback to leadership.
  • Drive operational efficiency through process mapping, time studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance including ISO, AQIS, and OSHA standards, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively across teams using company platforms to align on goals and updates.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet shift objectives, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Foster a professional, customer-focused team culture and support performance reviews.
What we are looking for
  • 3+ years of plant, warehouse, or relatable leadership experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other safety/regulatory guidelines.
  • Proven track record in process and procedure improvement.
  • Physically capable of:
  • Lifting up to 55 lbs and pushing/pulling carts up to 300 lbs.
  • Working in confined spaces, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to pass a medical exam, drug screen, police clearance, and reference checks.
  • Effective team leadership and motivational skills.
