Job description

Position Overview

The Sanitation Technician is under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitation of all parts and areas of the production area, warehouse, offices, restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

 

Essential Functions

Safely mix, handle, and use sanitation chemicals according to established procedures.

Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule, complete required documentation, and maintain accurate sanitation records.

Stock production supplies as needed

Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of the company’s facility

Inform supervisor of all repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep issues on all sanitation equipment through continuous daily inspection

Routine cleaning and sanitation of production area, warehouse, offices, restrooms, break room, locker room, and other areas as assigned, including walls, floors, and equipment

Completes any other duties assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Quality Manager, Production Manager, and/or Plant Manager.


Schedule

Monday through Friday.
