JOB PROFILE
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Working location: Neenah, WI, USA
General Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the daily operations of the plant in order to meet customer delivery expectations while ensuring safety, product quality, and efficiency of process within the plant.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Manages, directs, and controls activities for all manufacturing personnel
  • Works with the Scheduler and Customer Service to optimize production and delivery
  • Sets expectations and develops employees to build an engaged and empowered workforce
  • Identifies and overcomes barriers to Safety, Quality and Production goals
  • Oversees assigned capital projects.
  • Works with Maintenance Manager to improve machine availability
  • Visits any customer site as required by the customer or Sales group.
  • Travels to other Andritz facilities and interfaces with said Plants to facilitate Plant efficiency as necessary.
  • Responsible for reporting issues or concerns to the Plant Manager.
  • Leads continuos improvement efforts including LEAN, RCFA, RCM, ISO, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a paper industry or related setting.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonnel skills.
  • Requires computer skills with strong skills in WORD, EXCEL.
  • Multi-tasking capability in a high pressure environment is a fundamental requirement.
  • Requires occasional travel.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High attention to detail.
