POSITION SCOPE

The Crushing Plant Foreman is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant; overseeing all operations, both on site and in the office, managing workers, coordinating production and monitoring all site systems. The Crushing Plant Foreman will be responsible for supervising a work crew and inspecting and maintaining equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Supervise work crew
  • Assist with setup and tear down of plants
  • Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required
  • Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
  • Ensure that all operations maintain safety, production, and quality goals
  • Coordinate with the crew to ensure timely delivery of product
  • Report on operational, production, and budget goals and status
  • Enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate daily and weekly plant and equipment inspections
  • Monitor daily cost to determine performance and address variances
  • Provide support and operational assistance in the areas of safety, quality control, time management, and communication
  • Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Required 5+ years of verifiable working experience as foreman or supervisor of construction crusher crews
  • Must hold an M.S.H.A. 5000-23 certificate
  • Maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications.
  • Must be a Team player
  • Must have good understanding of Gradations
  • Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
  • Fluent on Apple products and basic computer skills in Excel and Word are required
  • Willing to work long shifts and able to work weekends
  • Must be willing to travel to other job sites
