Suncore is seeking an Asphalt Plant Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure quality asphalt production. Things You'll Do
  • Lead and develop plant personnel while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Coordinate daily asphalt production with paving operations, quality control, trucking, and management.
  • Ensure asphalt mixes are produced safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
  • Monitor plant performance, production rates, equipment reliability, and operating efficiency.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and plant shutdowns.
  • Troubleshoot production, mechanical, electrical, and material flow issues.
  • Maintain inventory levels for aggregates, RAP, liquid asphalt, fuel, and other production materials.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements.
  • Train employees, support cross-training efforts, and build depth within the crew.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Communicate production status, equipment needs, and operational risks to management.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in asphalt.
  • 4+ years of experience in asphalt plants, aggregate production, paving, construction materials, or related industries.
  • Working knowledge of asphalt plant operations and production processes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
