Job description

Conewago is currently seeking a Portable Batch Plant Field Operator to join our team. This position involves operations at a mobile concrete batching plant located on job sites. The selected candidate will be responsible for batching concrete, working with plant personnel-including drivers and loader operators-and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Operate and manage a mobile concrete batching plant
โ€ข Work and coordinate the activities of drivers and loader operators
โ€ข Ensure concrete is batched accurately and in compliance with specifications
โ€ข Maintain safety and quality standards at the plant
โ€ข Communicate effectively with project managers and site personnel
Qualifications:
โ€ข Experience managing employees preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of concrete batching and plant operations is a plus
โ€ข Strong leadership and organizational skills
โ€ข Willingness to work 2nd shift (overnight) and travel to job sites as needed in a company provided vehicle
โ€ข Training is available for the right candidate
