A Calgaz Plant Administrator provides crucial administrative support to fill plant operations, focusing on site level inspection records inspired by our collective commitment to group HSE reporting within Intelex. Key responsibilities include inventory partnership in collaboration with department managers, including reporting and reconciliation aligned with corporate standards. Additionally, this role will support and facilitate new associate onboarding training and milestone reminders for hiring managers, as well as all refresher training for existing associates. We look forward to your support with other administrative tasks as they arise to help our team succeed.
  • Operations Support: Coordinate and in some cases complete facility inspections. Support the success of all HSE reporting by completing it on time in Intelex or the appropriate documentation.
  • Create and maintain paper and / or digital copies of all HSE driven training records.
  • Facilitate the site's safety committee meetings once a quarter. This may / will result in opportunities to build alignment on safety concerns and potential preventive measures to be considered.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts with guidance and partnership from specific department managers. This would include collaborating with that manager to foster understanding regarding count variances and process improvement.
  • Operations Contribution: As needed and properly trained, this role would support the day to day operations as needed. This will be in the spirit of nurturing customer relationships and as a back up as time allows after primary responsibilities are met.

Are you a MATCH?
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in the gas/welding industry or operations/sales support.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Kite Platform, and experience with SAP or similar databases.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and ability to handle customer inquiries under pressure.
