Job description

Crystal Clean (CC) is one of the nation's leading privately held companies in the environmental waste services industry. Purpose: The Plant Administration Assistant is required to create, maintain, and organize operational and sales activity records for the WWTF plant location. The Plant Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting both the Plant Operations Manager and the Plant Sales manager regarding the processing of paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The Plant Admin will also be responsible for answering the Company's phone line, fielding customer questions, and routing/distributing calls accordingly.
Specific Duties:
  • Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all HCC safety guidelines
  • Sort and file all the daily control sheets from prior day's work
  • Updates branch sales board
  • Responsible for completing and submitting period end inventory.
  • Daily and weekly routing of both Operations and Sales Trucks and Drivers
  • Track and file all daily driver logs.
  • Track and file all vehicle maintenance records
  • Create service packs with labels and manifest for Sale Service Team
  • Draft list of customers that have not been serviced or potential call-ins
  • Order office and sales supplies
  • Processing (data entry) of plant paperwork
  • Direct contact with field personnel from branch locations
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Become knowledgeable with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures
  • Meet weekly processing goals
  • Answers the Customer Service phone line in a professional manner (Avg. 40 calls per day)
  • Accurate routing and distribution of incoming customer phone calls
  • General office duties
  • Maintain cleanliness of the office
  • Contact manufactures to get contact names and fill out lead sheets
  • Creates inbound and outbound spreadsheets for waste material.
  • Inputs waste information from drivers into the Crystal Clean computer program
  • Maintain accurate files of inbound/outbound paperwork
  • Assists Plant Sales and Operation Managers with maintaining accurate records of Plant activity
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including, but not limited to environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
