We are hiring a Demand Planning Manager to join our team!
Job Type: Full Time
What You'll Do:
The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for the availability of all product items World Electric purchases. The individual also manages and optimizes the inventory levels and quality of each product item. As needed, the Demand Planning Manager supports opportunities for spot buys gains and identifies best application of purchase conditions. The individual will also work others in Supply Chain to improve logistic productivity (inbound and branch replenishment).
Key Accountabilities
Supply Chain Planning Performance
  • Applies validated service level tactics to maximize availability for customers.
  • Optimize inventory and leads all actions for inventory quality. (including depreciation), in line with budget and purchase plans. Contributes to balance the daily inbound workload with capacity.
  • Close follow up, during phase in, phase out, stock out, and key accounts deliveries
  • Guarantees daily replenishments calculations to branches.
  • Establishes reporting and shares key performance indicators.

Supplier Relationships
  • Guarantees supplier lead team accuracy, and follow up with ongoing purchase orders.
  • Works with suppliers to solve any inbound discrepancies.
  • Promote CPFR with vendors.
  • Collects knowledge on the way suppliers operate and organize the delivery schedules.

Collaboration
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Ensures the best communication and cross collaboration with all departments in their relation to inventory management (Logistics, Purchase, Category Management, Branches).
  • Make sure the KPI dashboard are fully updated and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize inventory quality reviews and develops the progress plan.

Team Management
  • Organizes, manages and develops the team in charge of Inventory management and procurement flows to reach the goals in terms of availability and inventory DIO.
  • Makes sure that operations and process flows are updated and applied

Education and/or Experience:
  • 5 years of experience, specifically in B to B, preferably in distribution
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, required.

Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data for decision-making purposes.
  • Inquisitive and progressive - able to adapt and drive change.
  • Strong aptitude for analytics, forecasting and developing models.
  • Drives performance and results.
  • Demonstrated self-motivated organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks while building positive relationships will associates at all levels in all areas of the business.
  • Detail orientated strong analytical and investigation skills, being able to draw conclusions from research.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems
  • Acts with integrity.
  • Ability to work productively with a great deal of independence and autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with internal customers, external customers and vendor partners.
  • Understanding of the electrical wholesaling industry would be a plus, along with strong business financial skills.
