Job description

The Commercial Construction Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing small to medium-sized construction projects, ranging from under $1 million to $10 million. This role involves managing teams of 1 to 15 members, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple sites with frequent visits, and maintaining close communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. The superintendent is responsible for enforcing safety and quality standards, managing budgets and schedules, and utilizing construction management software such as PlanGrid and Buildertrend to streamline project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project execution from start to finish for small and medium commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate site activities and oversee safety compliance across multiple locations
  • Ensure quality control standards are consistently met
  • Supervise and lead construction teams ranging from 1 to 15 members
  • Manage project schedules and monitor budgets effectively
  • Liaise with subcontractors and oversee materials procurement and usage
