Job description

FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a 2-month project with a large construction client near Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This individual will be expected to work on a 5-day, 10-hour, day shift schedule for the duration of the project with the potential for additional overtime. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.


Pay: $45–$65/hour (based on experience) + per diem (if applicable)

Evaluating Practices & Procedures: 

  • Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
  • Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures

Education /Knowledge: 

  • Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred
  • 5+ Years of commercial construction experience within a lead safety role required
  • CHST and OSHA 510 Certifications are strongly preferred
