Job description

About RYZE Claim Solutions
RYZE Claim Solutions is a national insurance claims management TPA serving carriers across property, casualty, commercial, and specialty lines. We're a Bain Capital Insurance portfolio company with a distributed team of 200+ professionals across the country. Our culture is friendly, fast-moving, and built on real ownership - we believe in giving people the room to do great work and the support to grow.
Our Values in Action
Six values guide how we work and how we treat each other. Here's what they look like in this role:
  • Integrity - Mortgage servicers and lenders trust us to handle their claims accurately and fairly. Every coverage decision and every response you write reflects that trust.
  • Service Excellence - Servicer and lender clients depend on timely, accurate answers that keep their portfolios moving. You are the resource that makes that possible.
  • Ownership - You manage your own workload, follow through without being chased, and raise issues before they become problems for clients.
  • Passion - Bring genuine attention to policy language and coverage details. In lender placed, the specifics matter - and the right answer is worth finding.
  • One Team - You support adjusters, collaborate with the Team Lead, and communicate clearly with clients and carriers. The file moves when everyone does their part.
  • Celebrate Success - Recognize wins with your team, learn from misses, and contribute to a culture where good work is noticed and appreciated.

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Lender Placed Claims Examiner to join our Dallas-area team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you'll review, evaluate, and process claims on behalf of mortgage servicer and lender clients - applying policy knowledge, supporting adjusters with coverage and procedural questions, perform quality assurance reviews following specific estimating guidelines and best practices and ensuring every file is handled accurately and on time.
Lender placed insurance is a specialized environment where claims handling intersects with mortgage servicing, carrier requirements, and borrower communication. If you're organized, a strong communicator, and want to build real depth in a niche segment of the insurance industry, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Coverage and Claims Review
  • Review, evaluate, and process lender placed claims for coverage and appropriate handling within statutory timeframes.
  • Apply carrier policy language and lender placed claim handling guidelines to every file.
  • Review initial, status, and final reports; supplemental requests; desk supplements; and Proofs of Loss.
  • Review rejected claims and make recommendations for next steps.
  • Evaluate coverage positions and recommend resolutions to management.

Communication and Correspondence
  • Handle escalated calls from mortgage servicers, lenders, insureds, and agents professionally and accurately.
  • Review and route incoming mail, faxes, and email with clear handling guidance.
  • Respond to correspondence from insureds, public adjusters, attorneys, and carrier and servicer representatives.
  • Assist inside and independent adjusters with lender placed coverage and procedural questions.

Client and Team Support
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to servicer and lender clients on claim status and handling.
  • Partner with the Team Lead and Claims Manager on escalations and complex coverage questions.
  • Learn and operate claims systems including MSB, CatTracks, TiVA, and others.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement at the process and procedure level.

What We're Looking For
Required:
  • 1 to 3 years of claims handling or related experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate
  • Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Quick learner with the ability to pick up new claims systems.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in lender placed, force-placed, or mortgage-related insurance claims.
  • TPA or multi-carrier environment experience.
  • Active adjuster license or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays.
  • Hybrid schedule out of our Dallas hub.
  • Exposure to a specialized segment of the insurance industry with real room to grow.
  • A team that takes the work seriously and each other genuinely.
