Job description

Our valued client in the transportation space is seeking two automated test engineers for a contract opportunity. This is a hybrid role, which requires you to reside in the Denver Metro area. The position includes PTO, holiday pay, medical, dental, vision, and 401k. This is a contract role with a strong possibility of extension or full-time hire.

We are not just seeking a "tester," but a programmer who builds tools. Our client wants people who can help build a framework for the new build from scratch.

Role Overview: Our client is moving from 100% manual testing to a sophisticated automation framework. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help define the testing culture for our client’s back-office and customer-facing systems.

Technical Requirements:

  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
  • Coding: Ability to write automation scripts in Python or JavaScript.
  • Mindset: Clear understanding of programming logic; you must be able to "read" the code you are testing.
  • Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain automation scripts for tolling functionalities, ensuring seamless integration between customer service UIs and back-end collection processes.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $50/hour.
