    Job description

    One of Columbus' premier General Contractors is seeking a Director of Self Perform Group to lead and grow its self-perform operations across commercial and multifamily construction projects.



    This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing self-perform field operations, workforce planning, productivity, safety, profitability, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background leading large field teams and self-perform construction operations while driving performance across multiple projects

    Responsibilitie

    • s:Lead and manage all self-perform operations including manpower planning, field execution, safety, and productivit
    • y.Oversee Superintendents, Foremen, and craft labor teams across multiple active project
    • s.Develop and execute strategies to grow the Self Perform Group while maintaining operational excellenc
    • e.Partner with Operations, Preconstruction, and Executive Leadership teams to support project pursuits and executio
    • n.Drive labor productivity, scheduling performance, quality control, and cost management initiative
    • s.Develop workforce planning strategies, hiring initiatives, and employee retention program
    • s.Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry best practice
    • s.Monitor financial performance, labor budgets, equipment utilization, and overall profitabilit
    • y.Mentor and develop future field leaders within the organizatio
    • n.Build and maintain relationships with owners, trade partners, and internal stakeholder

    s.Qualification

    • s:10+ years of commercial construction experience with a General Contracto
    • r.Proven experience leading self-perform construction operation
    • s.Strong background managing large craft labor forces, Superintendents, and Foreme
    • n.Experience with self-performed concrete, carpentry, interiors, sitework, or similar trades preferre
    • d.Strong understanding of scheduling, labor productivity, project controls, and field operation
    • s.Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and teams simultaneousl
    • y.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skill
    • s.Experience growing and scaling construction operations is highly preferre
