Role Summary
Pizzeria Vetri is a vibrant and authentic neighborhood pizzeria known for its hand-crafted Neapolitan-style pizzas, warm hospitality, and commitment to quality.
The Server at Pizzeria Vetri is responsible for delivering warm, genuine, and memorable dining experiences to each and every guest. This role is a vital part of our front-of-house team and serves as a key representative of the Pizzeria Vetri brand. Ideal candidates are personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality and food. You'll provide efficient, friendly service while demonstrating expert knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and restaurant values.
Role Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly, ensuring every table feels welcome and attended to.

  • Provide knowledgeable and enthusiastic recommendations on menu items, ingredients, specials, and pairings.

  • Take and input orders accurately using the POS system, communicating any dietary restrictions or modifications to the kitchen clearly.

  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, anticipating guest needs before they arise.

  • Check in with guests throughout their meal and address any questions, requests, or concerns with urgency and care.

  • Maintain table cleanliness and reset spaces quickly and thoroughly between seatings.

  • Create memorable moments through genuine connection, professionalism, and hospitality.

Team Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with hosts, bartenders, bussers, runners, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.

Operational Standards
  • Follow all opening, mid-shift, and closing sidework procedures as assigned.

  • Keep station and service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

  • Maintain awareness of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards as required by local health codes and company policy.

  • Uphold all company policies regarding responsible alcohol service and verify guest age when necessary.

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely when responsible for guest checks.

Role Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
