Field Service Technician - Hart Area

Field Service Technician | Hart, MI

Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Field Service Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Install, commission, and test new machinery, providing operational training to client staff.
  • Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, accurately and promptly.
  • Provide remote technical support and guidance to customers as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during field operations.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications
