Armed Security Agent

Location: Queens, NY

Schedule: Full-Time | In Person

To be considered, applicants must possess: a valid New York State Armed Security License and either a valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit, or a valid NYS Yellow Carry Card, which allows individuals with pistol permits to legally work in an armed capacity. We're seeking experienced Armed Security Agents to support client locations in Queens. This is an active, highly visible role for professionals who remain alert, exercise sound judgment, and take pride in representing themselves and their company with professionalism. This is not a static post. Approximately 60-70% of your shift will be spent outdoors conducting foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. Every shift presents new challenges, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy staying engaged and making a meaningful impact. Multiple assignments are available throughout the Borough of Queens. Placement will be based on operational needs and business requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain a highly visible security presence
  • Monitor and control access to client properties
  • Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity
  • Enforce site policies and security procedures
  • Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents
  • Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism and courtesy
  • Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports
Required Qualifications
  • Valid New York State Armed Security License
  • Valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit or a valid NYS Yellow Carry Card
  • Ability to work assignments in Queens
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
  • Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset
  • Proven reliability and strong work ethic
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training
