Job Summary

The Pipeliner is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems supporting oil, gas, and utility infrastructure projects. This role works closely with field supervision and project teams to ensure pipelines are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in pipeline construction and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of underground and above-ground pipeline systems, including layout, alignment, and assembly
  • Perform tasks such as trenching, pipe fitting, coating, and backfilling in accordance with project specifications
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with pipe fusion, welding support, and bolting activities as required
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of pipe materials
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pipeline systems
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards or quality concerns to supervision
  • Work collaboratively with crew members, equipment operators, and supervisors to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company standards

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in pipeline construction or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of pipeline installation methods, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience working in outdoor construction environments
  • Strong understanding of job site safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel as required for project assignments

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with pipe fusion, welding support, or coating applications
  • Previous oil and gas or utility pipeline experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
