Today we manufacture the industry's broadest range of standard and specialty DWV products, including cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings.
Charlotte Pipe is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and has seven plant locations across the United States.
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Monroe, NC, is looking for a Pipe Cutter. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Pipe Cutter is responsible for cutting pipe to the appropriate length and packaging the pipe into boxes. Responsible for inventory and organizing materials. Loads finished product into warehouse specific trailer. Maintains an organized, clean work area.
Essential Functions:
  • Cut supplied "z-pipe" into 2' sections.
  • Box 2' pieces of pipe into cardboard boxes.
  • Build and organize pallets from filled boxes.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Ability to learn to operate scale and label printer.
  • Stock transfer trailers with created pallets.
  • Trouble-shoot, set up and reset saws and tape tables.
  • Keep supply shed up to 5S Housekeeping & Safety standards.
  • Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely
  • perform job duties.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift certified.
