Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves, and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join the warehouse team at our Spokane, WA Branch location. This person would be responsible for safely and accurately receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments and/or delivering complete and on-time orders to our customers.
Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available.

Warehouse Associate/Driver starting at $20.00-$24.00/hour depending on experience.

Warehouse Associate/Driver Basic Duties:
  • Receive inbound shipments
  • Stock shelves and maintain accurate inventory
  • Pick and pack customer orders and inter-branch transfers
  • Ship, transport and deliver material and customer orders on time and accurately
  • Safely operate forklifts or other equipment
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations along with all other applicable internal and external policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Locate material in pipe yard and warehouse for delivery
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Use a forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets and pipe onto the truck
  • Experience with box vans or 20+ foot flatbed trucks a plus
Warehouse Associate/Driver Desired Experience/Skills:
  • A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory management is preferred.
  • Forklift experience and the ability to pass the certification course
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Prior warehouse experience
  • RF gun experience
  • Ability to lift heavy material and packaging
  • Understanding of the importance of inventory management
  • Basic understanding of commercial and industrial pipe, valves and fittings
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass Background Check
  • Must currently possess and maintain a current and clear driving record
