The Southern California Pipe Trades Administrative Corporation (SCPTAC) in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire a full-time Employer Services Analyst.
CLASSIFICATION:
Employer Services Analyst
Non-Exempt / Full-Time
Salary Grade III
EXPERIENCE & GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, understand and explain legal contracts preferred
  • Knowledge of Taft-Hartley employee benefits plans helpful

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will analyze contributions for, and provide support to, the Employer Services Department, which provides customer service to contributing employers and undertakes collections from delinquent employers.
Specific duties:
  • Process monthly SCPT contributions
  • Pursue collections from delinquent employers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employers
  • Provide support for audits and collections

General duties:
  • Maintain and update knowledge in customer service and collection procedures by taking advantage of educational opportunities

Management may assign other responsibilities based on the individual's abilities.
