Job Title: Pipefitter Apprentice - Wyandotte, Michigan

We are seeking an entry level Pipefitter Apprentice, or those interested in learning the trade, to become an integral part of our Mechanical Division within Wyandotte, Michigan.
Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Completion of Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screen and Physical, Strength Assessment, and Safety Training for Construction Trade
  • Minimal travel required within Michigan .
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Previous trades training is a plus but not required.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling
  • Crouch, crawl, stoop rarely
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Use of sharp tools and power equipment in working conditions where there is possibility for slip and fall
  • Subject to variable weather conditions inside and outside
