Welder (Entry-Level to Advanced)
Round Rock, TX | Full-Time | $23–$27/hr


Position Overview

We are seeking Welders to join our growing team specializing in high-purity stainless steel process piping systems. This role is ideal for candidates ranging from Entry-Level Welders with foundational skills (tack welding, basic TIG) to experienced professionals with orbital welding and precision fabrication experience. You will work on projects across semiconductor, medical/pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and aerospace industries.


Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday – (OT as needed)
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday - (OT as needed)


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, fabrication, tack welding, and TIG (GTAW) welding on high-purity stainless steel process piping systems
  • Set up, program, and operate manual TIG welding machines and automated orbital welding equipment
  • Execute tack welds, full welds, butt joints, and fillet welds on tubing and pipe
  • Weld a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, Hastelloy, Inconel, and titanium
  • Work in multiple welding positions: 1G, 2G, 5G, 6G, and with positioners
  • Achieve complete joint penetration on square butt joints and high-quality fillet welds
  • Work with materials ranging from .035”–.125” tubing up to 6” Schedule 40 pipe
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, AWS weld symbols, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
  • Inspect and verify work using precision measuring tools prior to final inspection
  • Maintain tight tolerances (as low as 0.010” and 0.5° angular)
  • Ensure a rejection rate of 3% or lower through quality workmanship
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and manufacturing guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to meet quality and on-time delivery goals
  • Assist with shop organization, upkeep, and general labor tasks
  • Accurately record and track daily production activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Entry-level to 3+ years of welding experience (TIG, tack welding, or related)
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of TIG/GTAW welding processes
  • Experience with or exposure to orbital welding or high-purity systems is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and WPS documents
  • Familiarity with stainless steel welding and fabrication preferred
  • Understanding of argon purge welding is a plus
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring and inspection tools
  • AWS or ASME certifications are a plus, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a manufacturing environment around production and welding equipment. The environment may include moderate noise, inert gases, and industrial cleaning materials.

Candidates should be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required during production. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
