Description

Job Description Summary:

Receives stores, and issues materials, supplies, and equipment; takes inventories and compiles stock records in the hospital purchasing stock room. Unpacks shipments received; inspects items for damage or defects; verifies shipment accuracy; and conveys them to the storage area. Fills requisitions from stock and delivers to the requesting department or, in extenuating circumstances, leaves on a cart for the department to retrieve.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Two to three years of general experience, stocking and purchasing.
  • Strong numbers and calculation skills required.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Able to interact with a variety of individuals and situations competently, effectively, and courteously.
  • Must be computer literate.

Shift: (32 Hours per Week) Benefit-Eligible Position!

Day Shift - 8 Hours (M-F) No Weekends
