Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates cannot live in the following counties: Delta County, TX; Red River County, TX; Hopkins County, TX; Bowie County, TX; Titus County, TX, USA; Cass County, Texas; Rains County, TX; Upshur County, Texas; Van Zandt County, TX; Smith County, TX, USA; Gregg County, Texas; Harrison County, TX, USA; Henderson County, TX; Anderson County, TX, USA; Cherokee County, TX, USA; Rusk County, TX, USA; Panola County, TX; Camp County, TX, USA; Morris County, TX, USA; Franklin County, TX, USA.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years experience preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. LTAC experience preferred. Level I trauma experience preferred.

Special Requests: Travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties are not eligible.

Unit Details: Medical-surgical ICU. Adult and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. 6 shifts per 6 week period.

Floating Requirements: Float based on schedule.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
