Job description

Laclede Electric Cooperative in Camdenton, Missouri is seeking a Laborer or First Year Apprentice Lineman to join our team! We are seeking someone who is a team player and eager to advance their knowledge and experience in the electrical utility industry.


Essential duties

  • Under direct supervision, the employee will learn advanced lineman skills through on-the-job training as well as demonstrating competencies through the apprenticeship program provided by Laclede Electric.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Responds to and assists in troubleshooting problems with the electrical system during normal working hours, after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work involves all types of weather conditions.
  • Operates truck and other heavy equipment under supervision of qualified personnel.


Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Missouri Class A CDL.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate at their own expense to live within 20 minutes of branch office in Camdenton, MO.
  • Passing a company required drug screen is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. (20 lbs. regularly).
  • HS Diploma minimum.
  • Lineman's school certification or equivalent experience preferred.
