Adelphi is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services at a facility in Perquimans County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adolescents in a structured setting and must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with direct care staff.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing program.
• Active RN license valid to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience in adolescent,pediatric, school, public health, correctional, or emergency nursing.
• Ability to function independently and follow established medical protocols.
• Comfortable serving as the sole on-site nurse during portions of the shift.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with direct care staff.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Teams or WebEx.
• Comfortable working in a secure juvenile environment with multiple locked areas.
• Complete required virtual/in-person orientation and on-site facility tour.
• Complete required contractor, IT, confidentiality, and PREA documentation/training.

• Must store personal items in clear bags/containers; no glass items permitted.

Responsibilities:
• Provide safe nursing care to adolescents in a secure setting.
• Serve independently as the sole on-site nurse during portions of the shift.
• Follow established medical protocols in the delivery of nursing services.
• Work closely with direct care staff to support juvenile healthcare needs.
• Use available support while maintaining independent on-site nursing responsibility.
• Maintain compliance with facility, security, and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in required orientation & facility-specific training prior to assignment.
