We are currently looking for a Full Time Chickasaw Historical Society Coordinator to join our Chickasaw Press Operations team located at the Culture and Humanities Administration working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Coordinates all aspects of Chickasaw Historical Society (CHS) membership. Assists CHS board members with special projects, mileage reimbursements and other needs. Coordinates annual CHS conference and assists with production of the Journal of Chickasaw History and Culture.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinates CHS membership, including communication, mailers, membership cards and all other membership benefits
* Coordinates annual CHS Conference
* Documents minutes for CHS board meetings
* Coordinates caterings for CHS board meetings on a quarterly basis
* Prepares and submits mileage reimbursements for CHS board members
* Provides membership status report at CHS board meetings
* Promotes the Chickasaw Historical Society at various events
* Assists with securing articles and legal permissions for the Journal of Chickasaw History and Culture
* Assist operations team with daily operations, event coordination, and tradeshow opportunities, as needed
* Performs all other duties as assigned
