Job description

This is a 1 week project for a food manufacturing company in Taunton, MA. 
Under general supervision, manually pack single products into multiple pack cartons for retail sale, and repack products from damaged containers. Responsible for checking product condition, labeling, palletizing, and preparing cartons for shipment. Assignments include both pick and assembly for shipment, maintaining warehouse safety, and keeping the environment orderly.
  • Pay: $20 
  • Shift: 10-12 hour shifts 
Responsibilities:
  • Manually pack products as needed (single to multi-pack, or vice versa)
  • Stack/store merchandise efficiently
  • Pick and assemble orders for shipment
  • Check/count products for accuracy, expiration, damage, infestation
  • Participate in physical inventories as required
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping procedures
  • Comply with OSHA safety standards
  • Report hazards to shift supervisor
  • Maintain attendance and punctuality
  • Uphold warehouse security and cleanliness

Qualifications: 

  • Operation of pallet jack
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Reading: safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, numbers, and labels
  • Attention to detail, deadline management
