POSITION SUMMARY:
The associate is responsible for working on their feet, using an RF gun to locate and pick product to a pallet, or to an overpack case. Responsible for building pallets, breaking down pallets as needed, moving inventory from drop zones using a walkie-rider or pallet jack and de-staging product into Pick Mod.
All Shifts Available: 8:00AM-4:30PM M-F, 4:00PM-12:00AM M-F, 9:30AM-8:00PM M-TH, 11:30AM-8:00PM M-F
Salary Range: $17/HR-$19/HR
Responsibilities
  • As directed by the WMS, users will be expected to follow the system direction to complete daily activities. Activities are done by utilizing the WMS through either radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations.
  • Can be expected to work within various areas of distribution such as: Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, DEA, Freezer, Refrigerated space.
  • Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended period.
  • Pick replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer.
  • Retrieve replenishments from drop zones and deliver to pick modules using a pallet jack.
  • Operate a powered stretch-wrap machine.
  • Build pallets and break pallets down as needed.
  • Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle count process in WMS.
  • Assorted WMS tasks such as receiving incoming materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, counting, data entering, and other visual verifications will be conducted frequently.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, may be trained to use a walkie-rider.
  • Always maintains good general housekeeping practices in accordance with standard operating procedures. Reports any housekeeping issues to the supervisor.
  • Participate in user training that is led by qualified staff members that will include but is not limited to: hands on the job training, material handling safe practices, Warehouse Management System (WMS) navigation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training.
  • Expected to assist with the training of new employees.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as directed by management.
  • Maintains a safe work environment at all times. Reports any unsafe issues to the supervisor.
  • Focus on quality and accuracy as part of the company wide goal: Quality First
  • Display: Caring, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (CHART).

Qualifications
Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED.
Business Experience: One-year related experience or training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • General knowledge of RF equipment
  • General warehouse or distribution skills
  • Basic mathematical skills (counting, adding, multiplying)
  • Basic computer and calculator skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequently required to stand
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently expected to work in refrigerated conditions
  • Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds
  • Lifting to 60 lbs. for extended periods filling case orders.
