Parts Picker - Inver Grove Heights, MN

General Summary:

Parts Picker completes customer, and technician parts orders, checks supplier packing slips and confirms receipt of correct parts and condition. This position serves as direct liaison between customer, technician and Parts Warehouse Supervisor in respect to most parts stocking issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Picks parts and supplies to fulfill customer, technician, and van orders.
  • Ship orders via shipping carrier processing standards.
  • Checks supplier parts packing slips, confirms receipt of product in good condition, and inputs into ERP system.
  • Dates, signs, and forwards all completed packing slips to Parts Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Assists with processing on Raymond shipping and billing discrepancies.
  • Assists in shipping core and warranty returns to Raymond.
  • Greets, serves, and picks parts for over-the-counter parts pick-ups.
  • Replenishes parts carousel with stock order parts received.
  • Participates in keeping the Parts Department working area clean and safe.
  • Presses tires for customers and technicians as needed.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to perform simple mathematics.
  • Knowledge of computers such as keyboard, Microsoft Office, and ERP system.
  • Ability to match, sort and collate information as well as organize data.
  • Ability to operate various forklifts and complete required SOTM training for the same.
  • Skilled in customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration.
  • Ability to effectively communicate customer issues and concerns regarding accounts to Parts Warehouse Supervisor.

Education and Experience:This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED along with a minimum of six months' practical skills experience. Good people skills and verbal communication are necessary. Possess basic computer familiarity and knowledge.
