Job description

About Us:
We are a photographic specialty dealer offering the latest in DSLR and mirrorless camera gear, professional lighting equipment, accessories, digital lab services, and fully stocked rental departments at select locations.
Dodd Photo Lab:
Our in house photo lab is one of the last in the Cleveland area offering traditional color and black and white film developing. Processing 35mm and 120mm film rolls are a daily task and our ideal candidate for this position should be highly knowledgeable of these formats. 

We have 5 locations with our headquarters based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of 35mm and 120mm film types and formats is important.
  • Must have knowledge of digital photography.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time when necessary.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Likes to have fun and has a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities:
  • Initial training on digital lab printers, wide format printers, and film processors.
  • Sorting lab orders from the store locations.
  • Maintaining log sheets from the store locations.
  • Invoicing the lab orders to each store location.
  • Handling inquiries from store personnel.
  • Handling online digital orders.
  • Ability to adapt and conform to photo lab and store protocols.

Education:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Post secondary education - film and digital photography (preferred).

Skills:
  • Adapts easily to changing deadlines.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Good visual acuity.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Works well independently.
  • Knowledge of minilab equipment is helpful.
  • Familiar with photoshop and other Adobe CC programs.
