Job Summary/Description:

Rose City SportsNet has an immediate opening for a Sports Photographer/Editor. This position will help craft highly produced, visually engaging sports content that highlights our connection to the community. You will work in close coordination with key leaders at Gray Local Media's FOX 12 and RAJ Sports, the ownership group of the Portland Fire (WNBA) and the Portland Thorns (NWSL).

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Execute multi-camera shoots and cinematic lighting, with focus on clean audio and strong composition
- Shoot and edit high-quality video and interviews
- Edit in both quick-turn and long-form formats, building sequences that are cohesive, compelling, and visually dynamic
- Collaborate closely with Executive Producer and On-Air talent to shape a visual narrative and support impactful storytelling
- Use creative camera techniques, drone footage, and thoughtful b-roll to enhance pacing and emotional depth
- Organize and manage media, maintain gear, and stay on top of post-production workflows
- Help integrate RCSN content into FOX 12 newscasts to enhance promotion to a wider audience

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field preferred
- Minimum of two years' experience shooting and editing in a newsroom or documentary-style setting
- Strong storytelling instincts and an eye for detail in both photography and editing
- Experience with lighting, audio, and DSLR or ENG-style cameras
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays consistent with athletic schedules
- Good driving record
