PHOTO EDITOR

REPORTS TO: EDITING MANAGER

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

The Photo Editor works with the other members of the Boot Barn creative team to edit Boot Barn's photography assets for use throughout the Company's website and marketing. Following each photo shoot, the Photo Editor is responsible for managing the photo organization process, photo editing, and color correction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs high-volume image editing for use on e-commerce sites (retouching, color correction, color matching apparel, shaping, removing blemishes and wrinkles, etc.)
  • Ensures ecommerce images are labeled, organized, stored, and archived appropriately upon editing completion.
  • Edit campaign and marketing images including editing to each brand's established color and retouching standards for both print and digital
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of exporting and editing for both print and digital mediums
  • Maintain consistency in image style and quality across all platforms and channels, including website, and marketing materials.
  • Implement and follow efficient workflows to optimize the retouching process without compromising quality.
  • Completes all assignments on time.
  • Provide miscellaneous support to the overall Creative Department.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Photo Editing.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Familiarity with file formats and image optimization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-driven and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and be highly organized.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Demands
