Visual Media Creator — Photo, Video & Measurements


The Real Estate Media Specialist (Photography, Videography, Drone, RMS & iGUIDE) is a full-time, in-house role responsible for delivering complete property marketing packages for one of Edmonton’s busiest real estate teams. This position goes beyond photography and videography and includes RMS measurements, iGUIDE floor plans, drone media, and short-form video content, ensuring every listing is launched accurately, professionally, and on schedule.


Working within a structured system, the Media Specialist focuses exclusively on content creation while the team manages scheduling, client communication, and billing. Given the high volume of listings, this role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality media across multiple properties each week. The Media Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining brand consistency, compliance, and marketing excellence across all listings.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $70,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Capture professional interior and exterior photography for residential and luxury listings
  • Produce video walkthroughs and short-form reels for marketing and social media
  • Capture drone photography and videography in compliance with Transport Canada regulations
  • Perform accurate RMS measurements for properties
  • Create and deliver iGUIDE floor plans and measurement reports
  • Edit and deliver all media to MLS-ready standards
  • Ensure 24–48 hour turnaround for completed media packages
  • Organize and upload photos, videos, drone files, and iGUIDE links correctly
  • Follow a structured daily shooting schedule provided by the team
  • Maintain consistency in quality, lighting, and brand standards
  • Manage and care for all photography, video, drone, and measurement equipment
  • Maintain proper file backups and data organization
  • Represent the team professionally at all properties
  • Collaborate with internal team members to meet marketing deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in photography, videography, and visual content creation
  • Solid understanding of composition, lighting, and framing (real estate experience not required)
  • Comfortable creating video walkthroughs and short-form reels for marketing and social media
  • Willingness and ability to learn RMS measurements and iGUIDE systems (training provided)
  • Open to obtaining drone certification and training as part of the role (training supported)
  • Proficient with photo and video editing software (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong file management habits
  • Ability to meet 24–48 hour turnaround deadlines in a fast-paced environment
