Job Summary:

Our Guest Services Attendant will deliver professional, friendly and efficient customer service to provide our guests with the best experience in our area. The position will assist in the Admissions, Retail, and other areas that interact with our customers at different locations throughout the attraction. Duties may include the following:

  • In our Admissions/Entrance area, you will be our customers' first impression of our company so you must exceed their expectations. You will greet every guest and educate them by explaining our attraction and pricing while assisting our guests with selecting, purchasing, and scanning their tickets. Using our Ticketing Point-of-Sale and Ticket Scanning system, you will efficiently process the customer's transaction following appropriate company policies and procedures. You will also maintain the admissions/entrance area as well as general housekeeping of the admissions/entrance area.
  • In our Retail area, you will provide friendly and efficient customer service while assisting our guests with selecting and purchasing souvenirs and other items from our retail outlets. You will greet every guest and offer your assistance. Using our Point-of-Sale system, you will efficiently process the customer's transaction following appropriate company policies and procedures. You will also maintain stock and displays as well as general housekeeping of the retail area.
  • Working in our Photo area, you will provide friendly and efficient customer service while assisting our guests with selecting and purchasing souvenir photos of their visit. You will greet every guest and educate them by explaining our photo options and pricing. You will assist customers in the use of the Photo Booth to efficiently process the customer's transaction following appropriate company policies and procedures.
  • Working in our 3D movie area, you will provide friendly and efficient customer service while assisting our guests when distributing and collecting 3D glasses You will greet every guest and educate them by explaining our 3D movie experience. You will assist customers in the use of the 3D glasses following appropriate company policies and procedures.
  • Throughout our attraction, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of one or more assigned areas to include guest direction, safety, customer service, and cleanliness within assigned areas. The ability to interact continuously with our guests with a friendly, helpful attitude is a must for this position. Must work interchangeably and willingly with other team members to build a positive work environment.

Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes customers promptly with a professional and friendly attitude.
  •  Approaches guests to ask and answer questions to educate our guests on all aspects and options available throughout the attraction.
  •  Asks and answers questions to educate our guests on all tickets, photo, and retail options available.
  •  Participate in upsell strategies as directed by management to include sales and promotions.
  •  Properly operate the Point-of-Sale system and efficiently and accurately handle cash and other forms of payment.
  •  Ensure assigned retail and photo locations are stocked, clean, and organized.
  •  Ensure assigned ticketing location is stocked, clean, and organized.
  •  Ensure assigned 3D movie location is stocked, clean, and organized.
  •  Assist with inventories and monitoring sales floors.
  •  Must be able to maintain a quick and efficient pace when completing transactions to ensure we meet customer expectations.
  •  Operate attraction control panels in a professional manner.
  •  Operate photo equipment with care and promptly communicate equipment issues to Management.
  •  Verbally communicate an informational script describing our attraction.
  •  Verbally communicate and enforce direction and safety rules in a friendly manner.
  •  Assist guests during necessary evacuations.
  •  Inspect safety equipment prior to operation opening.
  •  React calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations and physically assist Guests throughout the attraction as required.
  •  Visually observe Guest actions during attraction operations to prevent safety hazards.
  •  Complete safety paperwork on a daily basis as required.
  •  Complete opening and closing procedures as required.
  •  Identify and handle any customer concerns and complaints, involving Management when necessary.

  •  Able to maintain dependable work attendance and flexibility with assigned work schedules including any required overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  •  Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  •  Able to work indoors or outdoors and tolerate temperatures of 0 to 100 degrees.
  •  Able to tolerate all chemicals/detergents utilized in the area.
  •  Able to be subjected to periodic random drug screening as outlined by company policy.
  •  Able to always remain attentive and alert.
  •  Able to memorize written safety standards and/or scripts.
  •  Able to wear all PPE as required.

Required Experience

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  •  Minimum 16 years of age
  •  One year of job-related experience in retail or sales preferred.
  •  Basic computer skills.
  •  Basic math skills.
  •  Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
