Job description

Position Title:      Graduate Assistant, Dual Enrollment

Supervisor:          Director of Admissions

Compensation:    Tuition Waiver

Cumberland University is seeking a personable and highly motivated Graduate Assistant to work a minimum of 20 hours each week primarily assisting with dual enrollment students and other recruitment needs in the office of admissions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble student applicant files under the supervision of the Operations staff.
  • Input student information into the Student First database system.
  • Place student applicant files into the correct filing cabinet location.
  • Serve as the back up to the University Concierge and provide lunch coverage, answering the operator phone.
  • Assist with administrative projects as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting events for Dual Enrollment Students
  • Assist with registration of Dual Enrollment Students
  • Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Dual Enrollment & Early College Coordinator or their designee.
