Pest Control Technician

Summary

Pest Control Technicians provide the link between our company and our clients through exceptional customer service. You will seek to solve existing pest problems and recommend corrective actions to prevent future pest problems. Overall, you'll build long-term relationships with those on your route, and protecting their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

Consult customers to understand pest issues and determine scope

Resolve customer pest issues

Apply pesticide or product as directed

Remove cobwebs around perimeter of home

Set and remove traps as needed

Provide service notes to clients using PestPac

Follow daily route to ensure services are completed efficiently

Follow all safety procedures and regulations

Sell new services to existing clients

Close leads as directed from the sales team and branch manager

Provide updates to branch manager as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

21 years of age

A high school diploma or G.E.D.

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Ability to read label and follow directions

Basic use of a Smart Phone

Enthusiasm for exceptional customer service

Good oral and written communication skills

Solid attention to detail

Availability to work a flexible schedule (between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.)

Availability to work some weekends

The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, and background check

The ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting & carrying up to 40 lbs.
