Job description

Billing Specialist
Rocket Pest Control is an out of this world company looking for the best people to help us be the trusted choice in pest control!
We're looking for a detail-driven Billing Specialist to own day-to-day billing accuracy and ensure timely invoicing in PestPac. In this role, you'll investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, support collections and revenue reporting, and collaborate closely with Operations and Finance to keep processes compliant, efficient, and customer-focused.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Manage the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in PestPac
  • Answer and manage inbound billing questions and disputes from the Mission Control Call Center
  • Research billing discrepancies, identify root causes, and partner with the field team to correct issues quickly
  • Review and address invalid invoice submissions to support accurate revenue collection
  • Reconcile monthly collections against open accounts; investigate variances and resolve receivable balances with Leadership and the Controller
  • Produce monthly billing metrics, revenue analysis, and reporting
  • Update customer billing information and documentation in PestPac; maintain clear account notes
  • Collect payments and apply them to the proper accounts
  • Apply credit/debit adjustments as needed
  • Support the call center queue during high call volume periods
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to billing operations and collections
  • Contribute to process improvements and complete additional projects as assigned
What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in billing, collections, and/or customer service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data (reconciling, reporting, analysis)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication; professional and customer-focused
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong relationship-building skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening

Pay Range
  • Range $18.00-$19.00, depending on experience
