Job description

We are a general practice law firm looking for a Paralegal to work with our attorneys.

Potential candidates must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and must work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate would also possess mid to high level computer skills, superior communication and written skills, and be highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Draft pleadings, and undertake case filing, including e-filing
  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, and appointments
  • Regularly update case statuses to clients by e-mail, telephone, and in-person conferences
  • Record and store client information
  • Preparation of pleadings and correspondence

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year previous experience in Personal Injury
  • Requires knowledge of Michigan No Fault law along with familiarity with personal injury
