Job Overview - Established attorney and law firm’s owner is looking to slow down and is seeking litigation assistance for testimony. This position offers the opportunity to assist with the firm's litigation needs, with the growth potential to transition into a leadership role and ultimately taking over the practice.

Position: Personal Injury Litigation Attorney
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Depositions and some Trial Work:
  • Discovery: Manage the discovery process, including document review, interrogatories, and preparing/defending depositions.
  • Advocacy: Conduct and defend hearings, mediate disputes, and actively participate in trial preparation and execution.
  • Legal Research: Utilize legal research tools like LexisNexis or Westlaw to analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
  • Client Relations: Advise clients on legal risks and strategies, providing regular updates on case progression.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the State Bar of Texas in good standing.
  • Mandatory experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Deposition and Trial experience mandatory.

Compensation:

  • Pay: Commensurate with experience.
