We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal with 3–5 years of relevant personal injury litigation experience to join our growing litigation team.

Position Overview

The Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal will work closely with our litigation and trial attorneys to manage cases from the filing of the complaint through trial.

This position requires someone who understands the litigation process, can effectively manage deadlines and competing priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist attorneys with personal injury cases from filing of the complaint through trial
  • Prepare, propound, and respond to written discovery
  • Draft motions, oppositions, replies, and other litigation documents
  • Draft pleadings, declarations, notices, and exhibit lists
  • Assist with preparation of discovery responses and document production
  • Calendar and monitor litigation deadlines
  • Notice and coordinate depositions
  • Coordinate hearings, court appearances, and appearance attorneys
  • Organize documents and exhibits for filing
  • Assist with electronic court filings
  • Prepare professional correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files
  • Assist attorneys with deposition and hearing preparation
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial documents
  • Communicate with clients regarding litigation-related matters as needed
  • Track case deadlines and ensure assignments are completed timely
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and other members of the litigation team
  • Complete special projects and additional litigation-related assignments as needed
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • 3–5 years of Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal experience
  • Prior experience working specifically with plaintiff-side personal injury matters
  • Strong understanding of both pre-litigation and litigation processes
  • Experience handling cases throughout the litigation lifecycle
  • Experience propounding and responding to discovery
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, declarations, and other litigation documents
  • Knowledge of California court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines
  • Strong calendaring and deadline-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus
