Locums Family Medicine Physician - Iowa | Full-Spectrum Rural Practice

Join a collaborative Iowa practice providing a rewarding mix of outpatient care, hospital rounding, and nursing home coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy practicing the full scope of Family Medicine.

Highlights

  • Full-spectrum Family Medicine
  • Outpatient clinic, hospital rounding, and nursing home care
  • Monday-Friday schedule with shared call (weekly rotation, every 3rd week)
  • Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Open to physicians with an active IMLC LOQ
Practice Details

  • Outpatient primary care with daily inpatient rounding
  • Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits
  • Office procedures including lesion removal and laceration repair
Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • Hospital rounds before clinic
  • Shared physician call rotation, call is weekly, every 3rd week
  • Weekend rounding during assigned call weekends
Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active Iowa license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA required
