Become a Key Player as a Trade Compliance Specialist

You will help the organization maintain compliant import and export operations so products move smoothly and meet regulatory requirements. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, logistics, contracts administration, and corporate compliance teams. This is an onsite role in Mentor, OH where your work directly supports the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems division.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Maintain import and export manuals and conduct regular audits.
  • Maintain item master data for HTS, country of origin (COO), and license status.
  • Coordinate compliance coding for new products with engineering and procurement.
  • Ensure import/export records are filed according to US and organizational rules.
  • Provide FTA data to customers as required and assist with government licensing applications.
  • Monitor and manage compliance systems and tools used by the division.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and trade programs (e.g., CTPAT, ITAR, EAR).
  • Attend required import/export training and promote a safe work environment.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical skills to assess business practices and recommend compliance updates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts.
  • Understanding of lean enterprise principles and practices.
