INVENTORY CONTROL DATA ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a similar field
  • 3+ years of inventory, operations, or supply chain analytics experience
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (macros, pivot tables, Power Query, etc.)
  • Data analysis skills, statistical abilities, and an analytical, solution-oriented mindset
  • Inventory management and supply chain knowledge
  • Ability to present data insights in visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Ability to learn and use inventory management software and an ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR INVENTORY CONTROL DATA ANALYST
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent analysis skills are crucial in this role, as you'll be reviewing data to identify trends, uncover patterns, and determine the most cost-effective ways to maintain a well-stocked inventory. By reviewing dashboard metrics daily (stock levels, inventory movement, etc.), you'll understand where we're at and identify growth areas. You'll promptly investigate the cause of unusual variances or record discrepancies and swiftly fix the problem.
To keep our databases neat and accurate, you'll review and validate records while cleansing data when appropriate. You'll support business profitability and revenue growth by developing effective inventory forecasting models for strategic replenishment planning. In case of any supply chain issues, you'll work with the warehouse, procurement, and other teams to find alternative solutions. We're always trying to improve, and you'll continuously evaluate and refine our data analysis strategies. You'll refine dashboards, document insights, and prepare reports for leadership to guide data-driven business decisions.
