Job description

Perma-Seal is hiring an experienced Spray Foam Crew Chief to lead and work alongside a residential insulation crew. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong experience in spray foam and blown-in insulation who can lead a team, manage job sites, and ensure high-quality installations. If you’re a working leader who takes pride in your craft and enjoys leading by example, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and supervise an attic insulation crew on residential job sites
  • Perform hands-on installation of spray foam and blown-in insulation
  • Direct crew workflow, productivity, and job site safety
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards, manufacturer specs, and local codes
  • Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable for performance and workmanship
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners during installations
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Troubleshoot job challenges and make real-time decisions in the field
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of attic insulation experience
  • 3–5 years of crew leadership or lead installer experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with spray foam and blown-in insulation
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
  • Comfortable working in attics, tight spaces, and varying temperatures
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor daily
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Residential construction or home improvement background
  • OSHA or safety certifications
  • Experience working directly with homeowners
