Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent
DESCRIPTION:
As a Superintendent at Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture., reporting to the Project Executive, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
  • Assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
  • Assume responsibility for compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, efficient use of materials & equipment, and timely performance of the project schedule.
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
  • Assist project management in developing, project schedule, site logistics plan and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
  • Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
  • Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 20 years of supervisory field experience with large heavy civil infrastructure construction projects valued at 200 million plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years construction superintendent and/or craft supervision experience in new building and/or structure construction including, piles, concrete and structural steel.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
  • Highschool diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Experience with City, State, Federal Government Clients preferred
  • Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft
  • MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy bid
  • OSHA certification, First Aid Certs
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
