Job description

Summary 

An organized and dedicated Template/Measure person will be responsible to work independently on-the-road with  customers/contractors to gather Field Data to bring back to the Sales Team/Project Manager/Engineering Team to fulfill  the Customer Project. 

This position involves communicating with customers during an onsite visit while measuring the areas where Granite  America’s products will be installed. 

Attention to detail and client specifications will be required as it will be your responsibility to deliver all relevant  information back to the Granite America Sales/Project Team in order to correctly fabricate and deliver the final product  to the customer. 

In some cases the client will need to be educated as to the limitations of the finished product with respect to their  requests due to Site Restrictions, Material Warranty or Fabrication limitations. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

⮚ Communicate with Scheduler and ERP System calendars about upcoming appointments ⮚ Call customers to introduce yourself and confirm your arrival time 

⮚ Meet with the customer 

⮚ Review all information provided to you by Granite America to ensure that customers expectations are the same ⮚ Enquire if there are any concerns or issues the customer may have about Granite America’s products/services ⮚ Conduct the Field Measure and add any field notes etc. 

⮚ Take job site photos and upload to ERP System 

⮚ Review with customer any issue discovered during Field Measure 

⮚ Submit all Field Measure/notations/discussions to Granite America ERP System 

⮚ Update ERP System Calendars 

⮚ Communicate with Scheduler/Project Manager if there were any issues or concerns while capturing Field Data ⮚ Provide report of your current ongoing and future Field Measures at the morning Stand Up Project Meetings ⮚ Document and submit any ongoing concerns that need to be addressed by Management with regards to your  position in the company 

Qualifications and Skills 

⮚ High school diploma/GED required 

⮚ Valid Driver’s License 

⮚ Current Driver Extract 

⮚ Ability to manage schedule calendars within ERP System 

⮚ Excellent phone manner 

⮚ Advanced communication and organizational skills 

⮚ Excellent knowledge of Countertop terminology highly desire 

⮚ Able to work under pressure 

⮚ Able to work with Digitized Measuring Systems, training will be supplied 

⮚ Drafting or CAD Experience is highly desired 

⮚ Able to read construction/blue print floor plans
