Construction Sales Representative

CAMCO Construction

Spokane & Surrounding Area

About CAMCO Construction

CAMCO Construction is a well-established local construction firm serving Spokane and the surrounding region.

With a legacy of delivering high-quality general contracting, commercial construction, residential projects, tenant improvements, excavation, and specialized accessibility work, CAMCO is known for its craftsmanship, reliability, and client-first approach.

As a small, locally owned company poised for growth, the owner is currently deeply involved in business development โ€” and now seeking a dedicated sales professional to drive commercial opportunities forward and expand local market presence.

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Construction Sales Representative to focus primarily on commercial tenant improvement (TI) and local commercial construction sales.

This role is perfect for someone with strong construction sales experience who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and contributing directly to company growth.

This position combines field-based selling with flexible scheduling and remote work options โ€” offering autonomy, growth opportunity, and meaningful impact.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Identify, pursue, and close new commercial construction and tenant improvement opportunities, with emphasis on local projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, developers, facility managers, general contractors, and decision-makers.
  • Lead outreach, prospecting, presentations, estimates, and negotiations to drive revenue.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution.
  • Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure solutions meet client needs and expectations.
  • Represent CAMCO professionally in the field and at industry events.
  • Maintain accurate sales tracking and pipeline reporting.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably within construction, commercial TI, or related B2B/field sales.
  • Deep understanding of construction services and processes โ€” including general contracting and tenant improvement workflows โ€” is highly preferred.
  • Strong communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a performance-driven mindset, comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable personal vehicle required, with travel reimbursements provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission with significant upside for high performers
  • Paid holidays
  • Standard PTO accrual, plus an additional vacation week earned after one year
  • Health insurance with the company paying 80% of premium
  • Cell phone stipend
  • Travel reimbursements for business use
  • Flexible hours and partial remote work options
  • Local market focus with a strong opportunity to expand business

Why Join CAMCO?

  • Growth Opportunity: Be part of a company at an exciting growth stage with clear paths for advancement.
  • Impactful Role: Your success directly affects company growth and future leadership opportunities.
  • Supportive Environment: Work alongside experienced construction professionals with deep community roots.
  • Reputation for Quality: CAMCO has built strong relationships through quality work and customer satisfaction.
